Will I grow out of balloon fetishism ?
No-one will simply lose the fetish just because they get older - but the
passage of time , combined with a reduction of any activity involving
balloons will tend to lessen the hold that the fetish has.
It is, of course, your individual decision whether you attempt such a
reduction in balloon activity.
When such a reduction is combined with sexual activity that
concentrates on something other
than balloons, ones spouse for example, then the activity that is most
practiced will also tend to become the most favored. The fetishistic
thoughts are unlikely to end altogether so even though previous
activity may be thought about and wanted, the act of having the
discipline not to respond to those desires can reduce the
intensity of those desires, but is unlikely to prevent the desires altogether.
If there is an aim to stop using balloons in a sexual manner then
you can expect to retain some feelings for balloons that will simply
not go away, and will just have to be tolerated unless there is a
sea change in attitude or therapy is
undertaken which proves to be successful.
